Hello everyone …

Whether this is your first time visiting this blog, or you are a regular reader and commenter on the blog, this page will give you some highlight on my guests’ comments policies that you may want to know:

Why am I responding to every comment?

You might have noticed by now that I am responding almost to every single comment on this blog. That is because this blog is personal, your opinion matters to me, and one of this blog’s objectives is to engage with others in healthy and civilized discussions. I totally appreciate those minuets you spend reading my words, and if you want to spend extra minutes writing your feedback, then I should respect that and interact with it. If you ever read or learned something new in this blog, that’s fine, and guess what, I want to learn from you as well.

What are the comments general guidelines?

‘No Offenses’ is my only rule for commenting on this blog. Although these are two words only, the implied meaning is vast and huge. It is about proper language, proper conduct, respect, and truthfulness. You could disagree with me or with any other commenter on any post, as long as you are showing your disagreements in a mannerly civilized way, you are more than welcomed. Furthermore, comments seeking pure arguments without clear goals which with time start to be aggressive will most probably be deleted.

Do you delete comments?

If, unfortunately, someone broke the above rule, then my answer is YES. It should be also noted that I am publishing these rules after several months of the start of this blog, which means I will be going through all the pervious comments and re-checking them against these guidelines, those found noncompliant will be deleted.

Why guidelines? Do not you believe in our free speech right?

Sure I do, otherwise you won’t be reading this blog. But free speech and free opinions should not be confused or mistaken by offensive and aggressive voices trying to force their views on others or just trying to be funny and sarcastic! These guidelines are in place to ensure and maintain a civilized, healthy environment where ideas, even when coming from opposing angles, are expressed freely and respectfully.

Hope to see your name on the blog soon …

Saad
